The NNDR datasets that we hold are matched with Companies House records on a monthly basis, with the resulting output reporting that across England there are 13,000 dissolved companies that are receiving SBRR but where the companies have actually been dissolved – which highlights the importance of checking the matches that are reported in the Company Status tab.
These matches are in addition to those ratepayers that are in receipt of the relief but are liable for occupied rates elsewhere, highlighting the importance of checking matches in the ‘SBRR Overview’ screen on an ongoing basis.
