Destin Solutions Awarded G-Cloud Supplier Status

Linda & JohnWe are delighted to announce that Destin Solutions has been accepted onto the Governments G-Cloud 7 programme. As an official supplier on the Digital Marketplace, Destin Solutions’ single view of debt, online procedure manuals and performance management and reporting applications are now available to purchase under lot 3, Software as a Service (SaaS).

The purpose of the Digital Marketplace is to make it easier for Local Authorities and other government bodies to find the solutions they need to buy to build world-class digital services and reduce the time and cost associated with deploying such services. This is underpinned by a commitment to helping smaller, innovative organisations win more work across the public sector.

Specialising in the government technology sector for nearly ten years, Destin Solutions can now benefit from providing Councils with a range of hosted applications without the need for lengthy and complex contract and tender negotiations. Our product range has been developed based on feedback and input from Local Authorities and we actively recruit employees whom have previously held senior roles within Local Authorities to ensure products genuinely meet business need. The range includes FUSION – the debt reporting and analytics tool, VISION – a sophisticated performance management and dashboard reporting tool and Enlight online procedural manuals to assist with the handling of Benefits, Council Tax and NNDR.

Duncan Baxter, Director at Destin Solutions comments “With local authorities increasingly under pressure to cut costs and boost revenue and collections we feel we have a strong offering that meets these requirements, whilst supporting the Governments digital agenda. We already have a significant number of Local Authority clients and hope that our addition to this framework agreement makes it easier for both new and existing clients to do business with us in future.”

A recent blog article published by Tony Singleton, Director G-Cloud and Digital Commercial Programme notes the total spend since the Digital Marketplace was launched one year ago as being £418 million with 635 suppliers having made one or more sales using the service. This is encouraging and with plans for further buyer engagement and education across the wider public sector, those organisations that have made it into the Digital Marketplace are well placed to take advantage of this going forward.
