Ruth Trown

Before becoming a Director of Destin Solutions Ruth worked for Circle 33 Housing Group for 9 years (now Circle Anglia). In her role as Head of Management Services there, Ruth held a strategic position, with responsibility for diversification of the Group’s activities, and expansion of non-core activities. Prior to that Ruth has worked as a Manager of a Low Cost Home Ownership subsidiary RSL, as a Regional Housing Manager, as a Special Needs Housing Co-ordinator, and as an Allocations Co-ordinator.
More recently Ruth worked for 4 ½ years as a Management Consultant for a large software supplier in the housing movement. Ruth’s background as an experienced housing practitioner, combined with her knowledge of the application of new technologies, makes her highly sought after as an adviser to housing associations and local authorities that are seeking ways to improve their efficiency.
Ruth has a total of 24 years’ experience in housing, over half of these at a senior level. In recognition of her seniority and expertise she was appointed a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing in February 2008. Until recently Ruth has lived and worked in London, and is familiar with the demands of operating in areas of high density and multiple deprivation. She is now based in East Anglia.
