Our online procedure manuals are among the most popular of our services. Why? Because they make life easier for operational staff, whilst keeping managers happy as productivity and service quality improves. It's a win-win.
The idea behind ENLIGHT is that each manual brings together all the strands of information that team members need on a day-to-day basis, in one place. Navigation is quick and easy, using familiar Contents, Index, Searches, Glossary, drill down and hyperlink functionality. So much time is saved because the information can be accessed quickly - and it is kept bang up-to-date.
The starting point for each Manual is a template of core information, which is relevant at a national level. In Homelessness, for example, this would be information such as the CLG's Code of Guidance, the key legislation and relevant case law. For Benefits assessors, it incudes all the Regulations. This core information is upkept by Destin Solutions without prompting.
We build up each Manual with locally-relevant material, to complete the picture for the team. How do the team deliver the service in practice? What is expected of them? How do they use your systems? What standard letters and forms do they need? Our specific knowledge of good practice in your service area allows us to offer invaluable advice about how to get the best result.
